Information about Cairngorm Mountain Ski Area

1. When is the ski season at Cairngorm and when do they open
It really depends on the snow fall, however a good guide is that Cairngorm Mountain Ski area will be open from December to May. Either end sof that time is normally only for experienced skiiers, although Cairngorm is great for a spur of the moment ski trip so it's well worth checking a couple of days before going just in case.

2. Snowsports at Cairngorm Mountain Ski Area
You can choose from a variety of activities, which makes it a great family day out. Skiing, terrain park, sledgin and snowboarding are available when the conditions are right.

There's over 30km of ski runs and a fully maintained snow board fun park. If you'd like something a little different specialist operators offer Cross Country, telemark, ski touring and ski moutaineering.
