Relax for a few days in the Scottish Highlands

We're located in the quite and picturesque Sky of Curr near Dulnain Bridge, Grantown on Spey and Aviemore.

You're welcome to use the guest house like it's your own home and either select one of our vast range of books to sit back and read with a coffee in our lounge, in front of the open fire, or come and go as you please. We provide breakfast and evening meals and there's a couple of nice walks through the forests at either side of the house.

Alternatively you could take a walk down to the heather centre or in to dulnain bridge for a spot of lunch.

The countryside is absolutely stunning in Aviemore and grantown on spey and throughout the scottish highlands at this time of year, so we thought we'd put some details together to show what's open for people that want to come up for a few days break but would like to know what's open.

Accommodation for local work men

We just booked in two people working at Tomintoul who couldn't find any accommodation closer. They were over the moon at the off peak deals as they are all on a budget and were also pleased that we do not charge a single occupancy supplement. They needed breakfast very early so we prepared a flask of tea/coffee and put a bacon roll in their hand as they went out the door so that went down well too! They were having an evening meal with us on some nights but were also happy to know they could bring takeaways back as long as they eat them in the dining room.

So we though we'd let any other work men know that we're offering this.

Golf

Courses are extremely close by including Boat of Garten, Carrbridge, Kingussie, Newtonmore and the Bill Mitchell (PGA) designed Grantown-On-Spey. Golf near Rosegrove Guest House.

Outdoor Activities

With winter walking, pony trekking, snow boarding, skiing, ice climbing, survival, hill walking, mountain and rock climbing, Dinghy sailing, Canoeing and Kayaking are available at Cairngorm Mountain, Loch Morlich and Loch Insh all only a few miles away with the Lecht ski are a short drive away. Fishing
