TAKE A WALK, Viewpoint Walk, This is a circular walk with stunning views, starting from behind the caravan site in Grantown-on-Spey (from the square, walk west along Seafield Avenue). Once under the old railway bridge, turn right over the wooden bridge. After the gates, steps to the left lead to a waterfall viewpoint. To the right, follow the trackbed of the old railway. At the kissing gate on the left, follow the fenced path upwards through the trees to the gate at the corner of the field. There are views of the Cairngorm's and the southern part of Grantown, also views of the whole Cairngorm's range and assisted by view indicators, the whole spread from Ben Rinnes to the Mondhliaths. Please note the walk contains some steep inclines and is therefore NOT suitable for wheelchairs etc.
